Thank-you for your input guys. Insightful. I am selling EFT covered calls to exit positions after the downturn last week. Once assigned to a buyer, I am now selling weekly 30 delta puts backed by cash to re-enter SPY, QQQ, IWM @ ~5% less than my exit. This is creating a buffer for my ETF ownership.

NIcely explained. I am able to do this with multi-legged stock options. However, I'm unable to do such an OCO with Futures options, like say a strangle on /ES. In this case, the only order type available is 'Limit' - can't set one order to 'Stop limit'. Is this a limitation of TOS, or is it some issue with how my TOS is configured?

Absolute BS that indices go up 60% of the time across all time frames! On a per day basis it's more like 51%.... It only significantly increases statistically after about 3 weeks or greater.

Great video. As a long term holder and trader we don’t care much about current price. As a trader looking to buy when oversold and sell when overbought, the weekly and 2 week charts are showing us we’re oversold and it’s a great time to buy more. Price on 2 wk bouncing off a rising 20 MA. Price on weekly chart is bouncing off a rising 40 Ma. The stochastic RSI on both charts is way oversold. Translation, great time to buy. Thx again for the different ways/ perspectives/ lenses to look at BTC’s potential. BTC is the ultimate disruptor.....I've been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....I'm especially grateful to Adriana Jensen whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

What happens if I sell the 23 strike and the stock goes to 21 for example and if the buyer exercise the sell rights to me at 23 now I own $23 stock that’s worth 21 so I’m losing 2-1.5 =0.5 dollars. What’s the mental and mathematical process in justifying that other than how you’re hoping that the stock will go up again soon or is the strategy to buy to close, which might cost me more than the premium I collected?
